CLASSIC SOUL

Classic soul oldies are an inspiration for my art.. It is also the heart and soul of our chicano culture and is common ground for black and mexican street life. Artist were more honest back then, they talked about their pain and emotion more than their money and cars. No one cared if Smokey Robinson had an iced out watch or big rims on a Rolls Royce.

Check out this painting I just did for Grand Master, Japanese tattooer Horiyoshi III. He had an art show here in town recently... Horiyoshi III did not make the show but it was still a success. His son took the painting home to his father.
